BRUSSELS—Today the Center for Data Innovation, a non-profit think tank focusing on the intersection of data, technology, and public policy, welcomed Eline Chivot as a senior policy analyst to lead its Brussels office.
“I am delighted to have Eline join our team,” announced Daniel Castro, Director of the Center for Data Innovation. “Eline is a skilled researcher, a superb communicator, and a rising star in the Brussels tech policy scene. As the EU continues to shape global attitudes and policies around the digital economy, Eline’s policy expertise will be an invaluable resource to European policymakers as they implement new data protection laws, consider new forms of taxation and regulation of crucial digital platforms, and flirt with other policies that would significantly impact Europe’s capacity for data-driven innovation.”
“The Center is the leading global voice on key policy issues in the digital economy, such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and open data, and I am delighted to join its dedicated team,” said Eline Chivot, Senior Policy Analyst at the Center for Data Innovation. “I look forward to expanding the Center’s engagement with the EU community of thought leaders, industry stakeholders and policymakers on digital policy issues that are so timely and critical to Europe’s future.”
