The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has accepted consumer complaints about the financial marketplace since July 2011. Since March 2015, CFPB has allowed consumers to volunteer to share their stories when they submit complaints about financial products ranging from student loans to mortgages. Over half of all consumers submitting complaints have opted to share their stories, and now CFPB has removed personal information from these narratives and made them publicly available.
