The Center for Data Innovation has responded to the European Parliament’s public consultation on Civil Law Rules and Robotics. It is encouraging that the European Parliament is engaged on this issue, however, the types of questions asked in this public consultation seem designed to elicit support for a policy framework for AI that is based on fear, rather than one that is based on supporting innovation.
