Spurring Facial Recognition Development with a Diverse Dataset

IBM has released Diversity in Faces, a dataset of one million images of human faces, to further the development of facial recognition systems. The images in the dataset are from Flickr, and IBM annotates each image with ten different tags to provide data on features such as facial symmetry, length, age, gender, and skin tone.
