Swedish startup Mapillary has released a dataset of 100,000 images of traffic signs to foster the development of AI systems that can understand them. The dataset includes signs from North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. The images show signs from multiple viewpoints, in different lighting conditions, and in various weather conditions, including sun, rain, fog, and snow.
