Researchers from RWTH Aachen University in Germany have released a dataset of trajectories for nearly 12,000 road users at intersections in Germany to advance the development of autonomous vehicles. The road users include vehicles, bicyclists, and pedestrians, and the dataset complements an earlier dataset that captured the trajectories of vehicles on highways. In this new dataset, the researchers used deep learning algorithms to extract the paths of road users from 10 hours of video recorded by drones.
