Increasing the Number of Tasks Virtual Assistants Can Perform

Google has released a dataset of the text of 18,000 dialogues between humans and virtual assistants that spans 17 domains, including attempts by humans to access banking, calendar, and weather services. The conversations include annotations for the intents of users. The dataset can help researchers build virtual assistants than can predict the goal of users for a wide variety of tasks.
