The United Nations World Food Program has released a dataset tracking the prices of foods, such as wheat, rice, beans, and fish in 76 countries and approximately 1,500 different markets. The data goes back as far as 1992 for a few countries, although many countries started reporting in or after 2003. The dataset includes the country of origin, month, year, currency, and price per unit of each commodity.
