Researchers from Google have created the Skin Condition Image Network (SCIN), an open-access dataset that aims to increase the diversity of dermatology images available for public use. The dataset supplements existing publicly available dermatology datasets from health system sources with representative images voluntarily contributed by Internet users in the United States. SCIN contains over 5,000 contributions, comprising more than 10,000 images of common dermatology conditions.
