Documenting Highway-Rail Crossing Accidents

The U.S. Department of Transportation has published a dataset that lists roughly 246,000 incidents at highway-railroad crossings in the United States using federal data since 1975. For each incident, the dataset includes the date, the railroad, the crossing identifier, the nearest station, the number of injuries, and the vehicle and train speeds.
