Recording Police Misconduct Settlements Across U.S. Cities

Data journalism website FiveThirtyEight has created datasets to record U.S. cities that have paid out police misconduct settlements. The datasets cover 31 U.S. cities that awarded settlements between 2010 to 2019 and include the date of the incident, when the lawsuit was filed, the amount awarded to the claimant in the settlement, the outcome of the case, and a description of the allegations.
