The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has collated demographic data on coronavirus cases reported by states and autonomous reporting entities, such as local health departments. The dataset includes information on 22 million coronavirus cases, with details about each case, such as the person’s county and state of residence, age, sex, race, ethnicity, exposure history, disease severity indicators and outcomes, and the presence of any underlying medical conditions. Currently, the dataset accounts for 70 percent of the United States’ current official case count.
