The U.S. National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), an independent federal agency that protects the rights of employees to improve their wages and working conditions, has released a searchable dataset of union elections that the agency has conducted since 2006. NLRB holds union elections to permit employees to either form a new union or join an existing one. The dataset includes the employer name and location, the employee unit petitioning for the election, any proposals for a labor union, the number of votes for and against those unions, and the status of the election.
