A team of researchers led by the Atticus Project, a U.S.-based nonprofit organization focused on automating contract review, has created a dataset of legal clauses from contracts governing company acquisitions. The dataset contains over 47,000 annotations explaining legal clauses extracted from 151 of these contracts. Researchers can use the dataset to train AI systems to review contracts.
