Meta has created a dataset to train AI systems to animate artwork. The dataset contains nearly 180,000 photographs of amateur drawings of human-like figures on paper, as well as annotations indicating the location of the drawing’s figure, which pixels belong to the figure, and the location of the figure’s joints. According to the company, the dataset is the first annotated dataset to feature amateur drawings.
