Hugging Face has partnered with Berlin-based AI startup Yaak to publish the Learning to Drive (L2D) dataset, designed to advance autonomous navigation. The dataset includes multimodal data from camera sensors, GPS, and systems that track vehicle braking, steering, acceleration collected from cars in German driving schools, capturing diverse real-world driving scenarios. Unlike existing datasets that focus on helping AI systems detect and track objects, such as Alphabet’s Waymo datasets, this dataset focuses on decision-making, enabling AI systems to determine driving actions directly from sensor inputs.
