Researchers at Stanford University and the Gladstone Institutes in California have created a dataset to show how genes interact in immune cells. It captures responses from 22 million T cells, which help fight disease, and records how changes in more than 12,000 genes affect activity across the cellular network. Tracking these interactions could help scientists map disease‑related genes and better understand the processes behind autoimmune disorders.
