The U.S. National Institutes of Health has published 30 terabytes of data gathered for its Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) study, which is the largest long-term study of adolescent brain development in the United States. The data includes participant demographics, neuroimaging data, biological data, physical and mental health data, and other information from 4,500 9- and 10-year-old ABCD study participants. The data could help researchers study important questions about adolescent brain development, such as the relationship between sports injuries and developmental outcomes and how genetic and environmental factors contribute to brain development.
