Researchers at Indiana University and the Polytechnic University of Milan have created a dataset of social media posts related to the 2022 midterm election season in the United States. The dataset contains Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and 4chan posts featuring election-related keywords as well as a list of over 4,500 social media handles from over 1,000 candidates for U.S. Senate or House seats and their social media posts. It improves upon previous political social media post datasets by collecting data from more than one social media platform.
