Understanding Human Brains

Researchers at University College London have created a collection of visuals showing how different people’s brains respond to real‑world experiences. The collection includes MRI scans of 40 participants watching Back to the Future, alongside measurements of vision, sound processing, eye movements and other physiological responses. The visual uses yellow to highlight brain regions with stronger correlations across participants and purple for weaker ones.
