Visualizing Germany’s Intensive Care Capacity

ZDFheute, a German news organization, has created a series of data visualizations illustrating Germany’s capacity to provide intensive care for COVID-19 patients. The visualizations show that Germany has more intensive care beds per capita than any other Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development member nation. However, the visualizations also show that the nation lacks the trained personnel to provide intensive care.
