The United States continues to have the highest number of new COVID-19 cases for every one million people.

The New York Times has created several data visualizations comparing the United States’ COVID-19 policies to those of other nations that have comparable wealth and population size. One visualization illustrates how the United States has five times more individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 than individuals in Europe, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and Australia combined.
