Chart of internet suppression in Myanmar following military coup.

Reuters has created a series of visualizations that depict the extent of restrictions to Internet access that the Myanmar military has imposed as part of a seizure of power that began in February. One visualization shows increasing restrictions to Internet connectivity, with the military shutting down the Internet for 30 hours on February 6, then every night for up to 9 hours starting February 15, and then completely as of April 2. Another visualization shows the escalation of Internet suppression, starting with shutting down Facebook, Wikipedia, and Twitter in February, cellular data and public Wi-Fi in March, and all Internet access in April.

Take a look.
