Flowing Data, an online publication that creates data visualizations, has created a clock-shaped visualization that shows how people in the United States spend their time. The visualization uses different colored dots to denote activities like sleeping and caring for household members, and the more dots, the greater the percentage of Americans doing that activity at a given time of the day. For example, at noon, most Americans are either working, socializing, or completing household chores.
