The Economist has created a visualization showing how politicians’ Twitter followers changed after Elon Musk acquired the platform. The visualization shows the percent change for both individual accounts and party averages from October 24 to October 30. According to the visualization, Republicans gained around 470,000 followers after Musk acquired Twitter while Democrats lost 420,000 followers.
