The New York Times has created a series of visualizations tracking the prevalence of medication-only abortion services in the United States. One visualization shows medication-only abortion providers as orange dots, abortion providers that offer both medication and procedural abortions as dark gray dots, states that allow abortions as light gray, and states that ban all abortions as beige. According to the visualization, around 40 percent of providers offer only medication abortions.
