Visualizing Changes in Immigration to the United States

The Washington Post has analyzed roughly four million U.S. immigration court filings since 2014 to create an interactive map that shows where in America immigrants have settled. Many immigrants end up in the immigration court system, and court data is the most detailed publicly available information showing where immigrants have put down roots. The map shows immigrant hubs by nationality and shows that Venezuelans, who have in the last few years become the top group entering the United States, are settling in areas such as Salt Lake City, Denver, and Dallas.
