The Washington Post has created a series of visualizations displaying changes in monthly rents during the COVID-19 pandemic. One visualization shows the percentage change in average monthly rents since 2019 in 1,500 countries across the United States. The visualization shows rent increases in red and rent decreases in blue. According to the visualization, rent decreased in 40 of the 1,500 counties.
