The U.K.-based nonprofit Our World in Data has created a visualization tracking imports and exports of plastic waste. The visualization shows the amount of plastic waste large producers have exported, the countries or regions that import it, and the amount that importers receive. According to the visualization, Europe is both the largest importer and exporter of plastic waste.
