Visual Capitalist has published a world map illustrating the distribution of ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWIs) across the globe as of the end of 2023, with UHNWIs categorized as individuals with a net worth over $30 million. The map highlights the United States as the country with the highest number of UHNWIs, accounting for more than one-third of the world’s wealthiest individuals with 225,000 UHNWIs. China follows in second place with 99,000 UHNWIs, and together, they are home to 50 percent of the world’s wealthiest individuals.
