Visual Capitalist has created a visualization that ranks countries by the size of the gap between how happy older adults (defined as ages 60 and above) report to be compared to youth (defined as ages 30 and under). One chart uses data from the 2024 world happiness survey, which tracks how happy people are globally based on various metrics. According to the visualization, the top countries where older adults are significantly happier than the youth are Mauritius, the United States, and Canada.
