Researchers at the Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research and the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt in Germany have developed sCIRCLE, a tool that enables interactive 3D visualization of cell data. This tool allows scientists to explore gene expression in cells in real-time, enriched with metadata, and is designed to be user-friendly even for those without extensive bioinformatics knowledge. One visualization using the tool is an interactive radial diagram that displays the expression levels of the top 50 most highly expressed genes within a selected cell.
